Tampa Places Second at Pre-National Invite
SAINT LEO, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's cross country team participated at the Pre-Nationals, which served as a showcase for the 2021 NCAA Division II Championships.

OTHER NOTABLES:
- Jarvis led all Spartans for the fourth meet of the season
- Sentner followed Jarvis and made it two Spartans in the top-10. She would also set a new personal record in the 6K.
- Blackman finished in the top five for the first time of the season as she also established a new 6K personal record.
- A total of 10 teams competed.
- Head coach Jarrett Slaven had 11 runners compete in the race.
- Finja Schieri from Wingate was the top runner with a 21:22.
- Joining Tampa from the SSC were Saint Leo (4), Palm Beach Atlantic (6), Embry-Riddle (7) and Florida Southern (10).
UP NEXT:
The Spartans travel to Huntsville, Ala., for the UAH Chargers Invitational on Saturday. The event will take place at the John Hunt Cross Country Course.
