Zoe Jarvis Captures SSC Championship for Runner-Up Spartans
LAKELAND, Fla. – Zoe Jarvis added another first-place performance to her storied Spartan career as the University of Tampa women's cross country team finished second at the 2021 Sunshine State Conference Women's Cross Country Championships.

- Jarvis led all Spartans for the sixth meet of the season
- Jarvis and Sentner represented the Spartans in the top-10.
- DeMarco set a new 6K personal best.
- This marks the second individual championship for Jarvis this season, as she also won the Valdosta State Invite. In total, she has won six tournament titles throughout her career.
- Jarvis now has two SSC Championship titles, as she also won the 2019 race. She has finished in the top-10 a total of five times at the SSC Championships, including three-top-three efforts.
- Head coach Jarrett Slaven registered a total of 11 runners at the championships.
- Joining Tampa from the SSC were Saint Leo (8), Florida Southern (12) and Embry-Riddle (19).
