As a Senior: Daktronic NCAA All-American Honorable Mention…ABCA/Rawlings First-Team All-South Region…South Region Gold Glove Team…First team All-SSC selection…Led the Spartans in hits (61), games with multiple-hits (19), RBI (47), games with multiple-RBI (14), doubles (14), total bases (90), HBP (13) and fielding percentage (1.000)…Finished year with second highest batting average among Spartans at .353…Started Senior campaign strongly with five hits and five RBI in a three-game series against Bentley (2/03-2/05)…Continued to hit well in the very next game against Georgia College (2/10), going 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and also recording three runs…Began a 10-game hitting streak (2/17-3/05), his longest of the year, in a double-header against Stillman (2/17) where he went 5-for-9 while notching two doubles, two RBI, and contributing three runs…During his 10-game hitting streak, Jones had six games with multiple-hits and four games with multiple-RBI…Hit his first home run of the year, a solo-shot against Seton Hill (3/04), going 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored…Had a career-high and team-high five hits against St. Joseph’s (3/05), where he went 5-for-5 with a double, four RBI and two runs scored…His batting averaged reached its peak, an impressive .446 after his 5-for-5 performance, which was also the end of his 10-game hitting streak… Had a huge series against St. Leo (3/23-3/24) with three consecutive multi-hit games, where he went 7-for-12 (.583), with eight RBI, three runs scored, two doubles and a home run…Went 3-for-4 against Barry (4/06), while recording two runs, two RBI, a HBP, a double and home run…Also hit a home run against Embry Riddle, with a 3-for-4 effort which included two runs scored, a RBI and a stolen base…Knocked in four RBI in a two-game series against Palm Beach Atlantic (4/20-4/21)…Hit his fifth home run of the 2012 campaign against Nova Southeastern (5/05) while scoring two runs, knocking in two RBI in his 3-for-4 effort at the plate…Started both games in NCAA South Regional (5/17-5/18)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll

High School: Attended Wadsworth High School where he played under coach Bill Goddard…Also played football where he posted a school record 2,300 rushing yards his senior season…Earned first-team all-region.
