Ryan Fleming

Bio

Ryan Fleming joined the University of Tampa athletics department in the spring of 2023 as the Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager. A proud alumnus of UTampa, Fleming earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management graduating in 2022. During his undergrad he gained valuable experience as an equipment room intern with UTampa assisting with daily operations, uniform distribution, and game day preparations.

Fleming further enhanced his professional experience through internships with the New England Free Jacks, a professional rugby organization based in the Boston, Massachusetts area, and the University of South Florida. With the Free Jacks, he contributed to game day operations and facility preparation. At USF, he worked with the Olympic sports equipment staff, where his responsibilities included implementing and managing inventory systems, heat pressing athletic apparel, and coordinating equipment distribution for track and field and men’s soccer.

Following his graduation, Fleming continued his tenure at the University of South Florida, supporting both the Olympic sports and football equipment departments. In these roles, he assisted with practice operations, equipment management, and inventory upkeep before returning to his alma mater to serve the Spartan athletics program.
