Spartans are set to host the Tampa Classic this weekend.

Tampa

• The Spartans have not played since their shocking win over the #13 Embry-Riddle Eagles on December 3. The Spartans hope their two-week layover won't stop their confidence after their massive win over Embry-Riddle as they host the Tampa Classic this weekend. Tampa will have the first matchup against an impressive 7-1 North Georgia team, at 7 pm on Saturday, with their only loss to #6 Lincoln Memorial earlier in the season. Sunday at 7 pm, the Spartans will play 5-6 Flagler who look to re-bounce off 2 straight losses.

North Georgia

• The Nighthawks are on a hot streak winning 4 straight against Fort Valley State, Union (Tenn.), Flagler, and Georgia College. They beat Flagler on Saturday with last-second free throws in overtime from Frank Champion, and yesterday pulled away late against Georgia College. They will come to Tampa to face off against the Spartans and Eckerd.

Flagler

• The Saints look to bounce back from a 2-game losing streak after falling to North Georgia and Young Harris. Flagler is 1-2 against SSC play as they matchup against Embry-Riddle on Saturday and Tampa on Sunday.
