HOW IT HAPPENED
1st HALF
After an opening basket by the Dragons, the Spartans would open their scoring with a 10-2 run, Bryan Williams with the last 5 points before Tiffin made a layup. With an 11-10 deficit, Tampa would score seven straight before the under-twelve media timeout to take a 17-11 lead. Tampa would keep its lead around seven for the next ten minutes before De'Andre Harvey scored eight points for the Spartans to take a 10-point lead heading into the half. | Score: 45-35 Tampa
2nd HALF
Williams and Tyson Leitao would score all the Spartans' first fifteen points to open up the second half to take a 60-47 lead before a called timeout by coach Linc Darner. The Dragons would cut into Tampa's lead for the next ten minutes before cutting their deficit to two with six minutes left in the game.
