No.1 Ranked Tampa Handle Business Against No.13 Ranked Florida Tech
MELBOURNE, FL. – The No. 1 ranked University of Tampa Spartans men's lacrosse completed the sweep of the No. 13 ranked Florida Tech Panthers.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST QUARTER
Tampa would waste no time putting the ball in the back of the net, as Daniel Fitzpatrick would put the Spartans on the scoresheet under a minute into the game. Despite going down by one with a few minutes left in the quarter, Tampa would fight back in a man down situation with a Owen Miller goal to even things up. As Tampa would end the quarter on a scoring spree to regain the lead.

SECOND QUARTER
Both teams would be even throughout this quarter, both teams collecting ground balls along with both teams hitting the post in the quarter. Once again it would be Miller who would break the deadlock of the scoreless period. As both teams would trade goals evenly in the dying minutes of the half to still make the lead double for the Spartans.

THIRD QUARTER
The Spartans would come out to start the second half off slow, letting shot after shot from Florida Tech. Things would get worse for Tampa as they would concede back to back penalties, the Spartans defense would step up in these man down situations, with Fitzpatrick scoring the lone goal for Tampa in the quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER
Tampa would start off the quarter in full control, as Ethan Paduch would put the Spartans on the board to start things off in the fourth. Matthew Beddow would capitalize off the faceoff, which would give the Spartans two goals within five seconds to give Tampa a four goal lead. Charlie Bolesh would seal the deal for the Spartans, as the idea of a comeback for the Panthers would leave reality.
