Tampa Cross Country Completes NCAA Finals Race

Pensacola, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's cross country team placed 19 th overall of 24 teams at the 2006 NCAA II Women's Cross Country race at the Fall Festival in Pensacola. The race was won by Adams State.

Laura Woznicki led Tampa, placing 48th overall with a time of 21:41.7. Other Spartans to qualify towards the top five were Paige Williams (71st), Alysha Duffy (82nd), Jessica Forrester (93rd) and Sara Nelson (128th). Michelle Gabrielle and Dara Fox also competed for Tampa.
