Sheena Walton Earns Daktronics All-American Honors
STEPHENVILLE, Tex. - University of Tampa women's basketball player Sheena Walton became the first player in Spartan history to earn second-team All-American honors, as announced by Daktronics.
The list of 15 student-athletes were honored by Division II sports information directors for their efforts on the hardwood this season. Daktronics is a world leader in programmable electronic signs, electronic and digital displays and scoreboards. The team is voted on by the Division members of College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Walton becomes the seventh player in UT women's basketball history to earn All-American honors, as the others were all honorable mention selections.
