Audrey Ramsey Receives SSC Player of the Week Honors
MELBOURNE, Fla. - Following an undefeated weekend at the Angelo State Thanksgiving Classic, University of Tampa guard Audrey Ramsey has been recognized as the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week.
Ramsey garners Player of the Week after leading Tampa to a 2-0 showing at the Angelo State Thanksgiving Tournament. The Boca Raton, Florida native opened the event with 15 points, nine rebounds, seven assists, and a block as the Spartans took down Midwestern State (68-57). Ramsey followed with a game-high 29 points and a team-high nine rebounds in a 63-53 win over Angelo State. Her performance against ASU is the highest-scoring game for an SSC player this season. She totaled 44 points by shooting 52% from the field (16-31), 54% from 3PT (7-13), and 100% from the line (5-5). She averaged 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.0 steals while playing 36.5 minutes per game.
