HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Quarter: Much of the first quarter would be back and forth. Gia Colombo would level the score after she found the back of the net with 11:46 left in the first. Later on, Dani Waters would assist Olivia Mott to tie the game back up at two. Emma McLoughlin would score with 2:17 left to give the Spartans their first lead of the game. The goals for the Spartans were scored as follows:

Second Quarter: The second quarter was filled with a lot of action - 14 goals in total were scored between both teams. The Spartans had eight different goal scorers with Allie Peebles kicking off the scoring first. Tampa would then score three goals in under a minute. Gracie Colombo, Sarah Hinkle, and Olivia Mott found the back of the net which put the Spartans up by five. Wingate would continue to battle after a goal with 7:15 remaining.
