Now, UT has a chance to end the season in historic fashion. With a victory on Saturday, Tampa would be crowned National Champions for the first time in porgram history. The Spartans and Panthers played each other just once this season back in February. Tampa posts an 11-2 record away from Naimoli and is currently riding a 10 game win streak.

Like the Spartans, the Panthers have their eyes set on making history on Saturday as well. Adelphi aims to capture its tenth NCAA Division II title in program history which would not only lead all of Division II but would would mark the first time in Division II history that a women's lacrosse team reached double-digit titles. Adelphi and Tampa share common opponents in Florida Southern and Pace. The Panthers record was 2-1 overall with their lone loss coming to Pace the first time they faced off.
