Spartans Drop to Third in Latest NSCAA Poll
MISSION, Kans. - One week after achieving the highest ranking in program history as number two, the University of Tampa women's soccer team is now ranked third in the nation in the latest NSCAA/adidas national top-25 poll.
The Spartans dropped just one spot after suffering their first loss of the season, a 3-2 setback to Texas A&M-Commerce. UT responded with a 3-2 win over then number-six St. Edward's.
Tampa has now been represented in 30 consecutive top-25 polls, representing the longest streak in program history. The Spartans have also been in the top-five in seven consecutive polls.
