Tampa Suffers First Loss of 2013 at Rollins

WINTER PARK, Fla. - The No. 4 University of Tampa (10-1, 0-1 SSC) women's soccer team saw its school-record winning streak come to an end in a 2-0 loss at Rollins College (8-2, 2-0 SSC) in its Sunshine State Conference opener.
Rollins scored in the 23rd and 70th minutes from Emma Jones and Kelly McCormack.
Tampa was outshot 13-11 in the game, with Rollins also holding a 5-1 advantage in shots on goal. UT did hold a significant advantage in corner kicks, registering 15 compared to just three by the Tars.
Alyson Gregorowicz started in goal for the Spartans, tallying a pair of saves as another save was credited to the team.
