Spartans Battle to Scoreless Tie With Undefeated Sharks

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The University of Tampa Spartans played in a hard-fought game ending in a scoreless tie after a pair of overtime periods against an undefeated Nova Southeastern team on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

1st Half | After 45 minutes, Tampa and Nova Southeastern were scoreless. || 0-0

2nd Half | The second 45 minutes of play was back and forth but led to another goalless half. || 0-0

OT | The first 10-minute period finished knotted up at 0-0. The second 10-minute period ended goalless. | 0-0

• Tampa led the game in shots with nine.
