TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa women's soccer team will face off against the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs for the first time.

About the Spartans: Six Spartans contributed to the impressive 8-0 triumph over the Tusculum Pioneers on Friday night, five netting their first career goals. Madison McElhone and Katherine Hostage scored two goals apiece, Hostage also contributing two assists on the night. Lovisa Camel continued her clean sheet streak tallying five saves.
About the Mountain Lions: The Mountain Lions are coming off a 3-1 win over Texas A&M – Commerce. Offensive leader Makayla Merlo put up three shots, scoring two goals in the match and Fie Steenberg tallying one goal. Goalkeeper Chloe DeShazer holds a .556 save percentage, 1.22 goals-against average, and five saves in four appearances.
All-Time Series: Wednesday's match will be the first-ever meet-up between Tampa and Colorado-Colorado Springs.
Tickets: General Admission ticket prices for all Tampa regular season athletic events are $5. Youth (ages 12 and under) are admitted free of charge. Students and faculty/staff are admitted free with a valid UT ID.
