HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: Both sides in the first half would feel their opponents out to begin the game, as both teams looked to establish their presence in the midfield. Tampa would find it difficult to pierce through the Dragons defensive line, until Sophie Shrader would break the deadlock in the 20th minute with a thunderous strike past the Dragon's keeper. Tampa would find a little bit more success in the middle of the field passing around the Dragon's, until the whistle would blow for half time. Score: 1-0 Tampa
SECOND HALF: Tampa would be able to find much more success as the 2nd half kicked off, as they would be able to exploit the opposing teams fullbacks, finding success out on the wing. As Katherine Hostage would find the back of the net with about 25 minutes left to play, doubling the Spartans lead. Tampa's backline would continue to not be broken, the Spartans strong backline would be difficult for the Dragons to break down. The game would stay 2-0 until the 88th minute where a counter attack would find Olivia Duboc getting on the scoresheet, and securing the victory for the Spartans. Final: Tampa 3-0
