HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: The Spartans would put pressure on Eckerd as they moved the ball quickly to start the first half. Tampa would get a breakthrough early in the 11th minute off of a Erin McCarthy strike into the top corner. The rest of the half would be slow for both sides, both struggling to break past each other's backline, leaving the Spartans ahead at the half. Score: 1-0 Tampa
SECOND HALF: Eckerd came into the second half looking for a goal as they put the pressure on Tampa. Both teams would go back and forth as the Spartans tried to hold onto their lead. The Tritons would find a window in behind Tampa's backline, getting the last minute equalizer in the 89th minute. Putting the Spartans win on hold. Score: 1-1 Draw
