Katherine Hostage Named to All-SSC Team
MELBOURNE, Fla. - Twenty-four women's soccer student-athletes have earned All-SSC honors for the 2022 season, with University of Tampa senior Katherine Hostage repeating as an honoree. League champion Florida Southern College boasts seven All-SSC accolades, including Defensive Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year. Voting for the awards is conducted among the conference's women's soccer coaches.
Hostage, a senior from Southborough, Mass., was honored as a second-team member. Coming off a season where she was SSC player of the Year and first-team all-conference, Hostage led the Spartans with seven goals, three of which were game winners. In 14 games this season, she was also credited with two assists.
Luana Grabias, a junior forward from Nova Southeastern University, is honored as the Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year by league coaches in 2022.
