
Freshman Zoe Jarvis Grabs SSC Runner of the Week Honors
Has led Tampa in first two races of 2017.
MELBOURNE, Fla. - University of Tampa freshman cross country runner Zoe Jarvis has been honored as the Sunshine State Female Conference Runner of the Week.
Athletes of the Week are chosen from a pool of nominees for their performances during the week of September 18 - 24, 2017. Athletes are nominated by Sports Information Directors of member institutions.
Jarvis finished 10th overall among all runners at the University of Florida Mountain Dew Invitational. The Tampa native was the top SSC runner in the race and second among all Division II runners. Jarvis was the Spartans top runner for the second straight race and led the team to top finish among Division II schools. Jarvis finished with 18:21.0 time in the 5,000-meter race.
