NCAA to Feature Tampa Basketball Games on National Webcast
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Saturday's men's and women's basketball games between The University of Tampa and Florida Tech will be part of a CSTV NCAA Webcast that can be accessed online for free.
The webcast will begin for the 2 p.m., meeting between the women's teams in Melbourne. The Spartans, entering the game with a 10-2 record, are a perfect 3-0 in Sunshine State Conference action as they meet last season's regular season co-champion. FIT enters the game with a record of 9-4 and 1-1 in league action and is coming off a victory over Rollins on Wednesday.
Tampa's women trail 24-23 in the Florida Tech series, though the Spartans are winners of five straight against the Panthers.
The 4 p.m., men's game will see the UT men's teams, who are 9-2 and winners of five straight games, against the #11 ranked Panthers. At 11-1, the Panthers are looking to avenge an 81-65 loss to Rollins on Wednesday.
UT's men are 40-14 all-time against Florida Tech and split last season with each team winning at home.
