UT Athletics to Host Midnight Madness
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa is set to host its largest event of the year, Midnight Madness, in an action-packed event on Sunday, October 20 at the Bob Martinez Athletics Center. The annual event will feature both UT basketball teams.
2019 Midnight Madness Event Details
- Co-sponsored event with Student Government
- Pre-Show event – sponsored by Athletic Marketing & Student Productions
- 9:00 – 10:30 pm – Outside of Martinez Athletics Center Front Doors
- Including: Liquid nitrogen ice cream, robot stilt walkers (z-bots), glow bracelets giveaway, music from WUTT
- Doors open to Martinez Athletics Center – 10:30 pm
- Lobbying inside of MAC – open from 10:30-11 pm
- Vendors with free food/giveaways including:
- Student Productions
- Student Government
- SAAC – hosting 50/50 raffle
- Enterprise
- Pizza Hut
- Krispy Kreme
- Jimmy John's
- Pepsi

- Midnight Madness show – begins at 11:00 pm, goes until midnight
- Host: Greg Wolf (In-game host for Tampa Bay Lightning/USF Bulls)

- National anthem performance by UT's Scarlette Fever
- Basketball team introductions
- Skills challenge – basketball student-athletes and fan participants
- Dribble contest – basketball student-athletes and fan participants
- Three-point shot contest – basketball student-athletes
- Half-court shot contest – fan participant
- Dunk contest – basketball student-athletes
- Performances by cheer squad, Scarlets dance team, unified dance team, Spanish dance team
