Dawn Rawlins, 1995-98, not only excelled on the volleyball court as she was also a two-time Sunshine State Conference Female Scholar Athlete of the Year selection. As a volleyball player, Rawlins was twice named a second-team All-American while finishing her career with 978 kills. A two-time first-team all-SSC selection, Rawlins was a member of the leagues second-team for two years, making her one of three Spartans to earn the award all four years. Rawlins was also a three-time first-team all-South selection while being named CoSIDA Academic all-District in 1998. She currently ranks second in school history for blocks in a season (198) and fourth on the UT career list (470).
