HOW IT HAPPENED:
v.s. Eckerd: Following the Spartans senior day ceremony in which they recognized seniors Julia Oswald, Sara Szalay, Leah Williams, and Reagan Carlton as well as graduate assistant Andres Tirado, they kicked off their match against cross-town opponent, Eckerd. Kalli Cors and Alivia Horn played their most dominant volleyball of the season in the 5s to open the duel. They allowed a combined 15 points over two sets and reached the technical timeout at a score of 17-4 in each set. Although not nearly as dominant, the rest of the Spartans followed suit. The 4s, 3s, and 1s all claimed their matches in just two sets. The 2s came out string with a first set win but fell in the second leading to a match deciding third set. Following a few early errors in the third Tampa's 2s played clean volleyball and took the final set of the night.
