Tampa Stays Put In National Rankings

TAMPA, Fla. - Following a 3-1 week and a series victory over Rollins College in its previous Sunshine State Conference series, The University of Tampa baseball team (37-6) continues its standing as No. 2 in the latest Ping! Baseball NCAA II National Poll and No. 3 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll.

The Spartans notched a 3-2 non-conference win over Florida Tech on Tuesday followed by a pair of wins at Rollins.

The Spartans will travel to Warner University on Tuesday for a non-conference meeting with the Royals at 3:30 p.m. UT then hosts Barry University for a three-game set beginning Friday at 6 p.m. The Buccaneers enter as the No. 20 team according to Ping.
