Spartans Re-Claim No. 2 Spot In South Region Rankings
INDIANAPOLIS - After spending one week at No. 3 in the NCAA Division II South Region baseball rankings, The University of Tampa has moved up one spot in the newest release.
The Spartans (42-8), who completed its regular season with a three-game sweep of No. 3 Florida Southern College (37-10), trail only Southern Arkansas University (39-6).
The NCAA South Regional is scheduled for May 13-17 at campus sites. Though the regular season is complete for UT, Southern Arkansas will compete in the Gulf South Conference tournament.
