Sean Bierman Pitches Way to SSC Honor

ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Tampa's Sean Bierman has been lauded as Sunshine State Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week, as announced Monday by the league office.

A senior, Sean Bierman (Kinnelon, N.J.) tossed six scoreless innings in the No. 8 Spartans' 11-2 conference win at Saint Leo. Bierman allowed just three hits and one walk while striking out six Lion batters.
