Championship Central: Tampa to Play Minnesota State For NCAA Baseball Championship
CARY, N.C. - The University of Tampa baseball team has advanced to the national championship game of the 2013 NCAA Championships. The Spartans will play Minnesota State University on Saturday for the program's sixth national championship.
Saturday's game is scheduled for 7 p.m., at Coleman Field on the site of the USA National Training Complex. The matchup pairs the nation's No. 1 team, Tampa, versus the No. 2-ranked Mavericks of Minnesota State.
The NCAA will offer a video broadcast and live stats for the game. Fans are also encouraged to follow the Spartans on Twitter through @UTSpartans and @UT_Baseball.
The National Finals are co-hosted by Town of Cary and Mount Olive College at the USA Baseball National Training Complex.
