Knarr Dazzles With Another Friday Night Gem
TAMPA, Fla. – The No. 4 University of Tampa baseball team defeated Florida Tech 1-0 in game one of the series between the Sunshine State Conference opponents.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Mikey Navarrete recorded the Spartans first hit of the game with a groundball between third base and shortstop. Navarrete advanced to second with a bunt by Christian Flint. Jose Cadenas reached first on a fielder's choice, Flint would be out at second, and Navarrete advanced to third. Drew Ehrhard reached first and brought ins Navarrete on a fielder's choice to put the Spartans on the board first. || Bottom 3 || 1-0 UT
- Jordan Leasure was called to the mound for the Spartans. || Top 6 || 1-0 UT
- Jacinto Arredondo came in to pitch for Tampa after a double down the left field line was hit by Florida Tech. || Top 7 || 1-0 UT
- Jake Lane took over pitching for the Panthers. || Bottom 7 || 1-0 UT

- Brandon Knarr has a combined 29 strikeouts and no earned runs in his last two appearances.
- Jacinto Arredondo picked up his third save of the season with a strikeout in a scoreless ninth inning.
