TAMPA, Fla. – The top-ranked Spartans took their 16th win of the season, defeating visiting Seton Hill University.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the bottom half of the first, the Spartans loaded the bases, and were walked in twice | 2-0 Tampa. The Spartans add another two to their total in the bottom of the third, with a single to right from John Malcom and a balk by Marshall McGraw that scored Luke Glancy | 4-0 Tampa. E.J. Cumbo single to center scored Josh Rulli, and Jordan Lala | 6-0 Tampa. Lala reached on a fielder's choice which scored Malcom | 7-0 Tampa. Nick Long's day was done after 5.0 IP, Braden Forsyth relieved him in the top half of the sixth. The Griffins scratch two across in top of the seventh off of Forsyth to make it | 7-2 Tampa. Malcom smacked one to left-center for his first home run of the year | 8-2 Tampa. Drew Ehrhard connected with one, and sent it to left for his second home run of the 2022 campaign | 9-2 Tampa. Michael D'Emo comes into to clean it up in the ninth | 9-2 Tampa
