HOW IT HAPPENED (Game One):
It was scoreless baseball through three and a half innings innings in Daytona Beach. The Eagles got on the board first with a single to right-center | 1-0 ERU. Tampa answered the run back with one of their own in the following inning, which came off the bat of Drew Ehrhard | 1-1 Tampa. Embry-Riddle cashed in on another run in the bottom of the 6th, which took the lead back | 2-1 ERU. That would be the last time the Eagles would score, and Tampa went on to score eight unanswered runs in the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings. Michael Paul's day was done after 6.0 IP along with 7 K's, and 3 BBs. Braydon Nelson collected his 6th save of the year, closing out the last three innings | Final: 9-2 Tampa.

Three scoreless frames began the game. In the T4th, the Spartans rattled off four consecutive singles by Cumbo, Dan Sullivan, Jamarcus Lyons, and Giovany Lorenzo | 2-0 Tampa. Embry-Riddle answered right back in the bottom half, to cut the lead to only one | 2-1 Tampa. Sullivan hit his 8th homer of the year in the T5th, which extended the Spartans' lead. Luke Glancy added two more to the lead with a double that scored two. Tampa would go on to score two more in that inning | 9-1 Tampa. The Spartans put up another seven runs in the following inning | 15-1 Tampa. Tampa would coast home to complete the sweep in the 8th and 9th innings. | FINAL: 19-3 Tampa
