HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Spartans struck early in the T1st. Drew Ehrhard singled to right that scored Jose Cadenas. Jamarcus Lyons cleared the bases with a three-run homerun down the left line | 4-0 Tampa. Josh Rulli joined the hit parade in the first with a single to center, that scored Anthony Nunez and the Spartans batted through the order in the T1st | 5-0 Tampa. In Cadenas' second at bat of the T1st he was walked and that brought in Macallister Jorgensen | 6-0 Tampa. Lynn's starter, Winston was pulled after that only going 0.2 IP, allowing 3 ER, and 2 BB. In the T2nd, Dan Sullivan led off with a solo shot to right field, that was his 11th long ball of the year | 7-0 Tampa. Jorgensen added another run with a single to left field | 8-0 Tampa. The Fighting Knights got their first run of the game from a sac fly by Murray | 8-1 Tampa. Spartans put another one across in the T5th from a Ehrhard ground out | 9-1 Tampa.
