WINTER PARK, Fla. – Tampa Baseball split a Friday night Sunshine State Conference double header against the Rollins Tars.
Final Score -- GAME ONE: No. 2 University of Tampa Spartans (9), Rollins College Tars (6)
Final Score -- GAME TWO: Rollins College Tars (2), No. 2 University of Tampa Spartans (1)

HOW IT HAPPENED -- GAME ONE:
The Tars got on the board early, with an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning | 1-0 Rollins. Drew Ehrhard tied the game up for Tampa with an RBI single up the middle, which brought home Luke Glancy. Dan Sullivan would keep the momentum going with another RBI single to right field in the top of the third to score Jordan Lala | 2-1 Tampa. Rollins would battle right back in the bottom of the third to even the score out at 2-2. J.D. Urso reclaimed the Spartan's lead in the top of the sixth inning with a single to right field that scored Sullivan | 3-2 Tampa. UT extended their lead in the seventh with an RBI single from Ehrhard and a 2 RBI single to centerfield from Jamarcus Lyons | 6-2 Tampa. The Tars hit Lyons and walked Urso with the bases juiced in the top of the eight | 8-2 Tampa. Rollins rallied in the eighth with an RBI and a two-run homer | 8-5 Tampa. Jose Cadenas would secure the Spartan lead bringing home Kian Knutson on an RBI single | 9-5 Tampa. Rollins tallied one more run in the bottom of the ninth | FINAL: 9-6 Tampa

- Haden Erbe earned his 9th win on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED -- GAME TWO:
Sullivan hit a single to left field to send Josh Rulli home in the top of the third inning | 1-0 Tampa. Alex Canney pitched six innings, only allowing two hits. Cameron Sereda was called in from the bullpen in the seventh. Rollins scored on a wild pitch to tie up the game in the bottom of the eighth | 1-1. The Tars would walk off the game after scoring on a throwing error | FINAL: 2-1 Rollins
