EJ Cumbo Walk-Off Seals Series Sweep Over Georgia College
TAMPA, Fla. – The Tampa Spartans completed an opening-series sweep of Georgia College with a comeback win in extra innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the top of the first inning, Georgia College led off the game with the first four batters hitting singles. Brandon Bellflower and Mason Spivey both drove in one run each before Tampa starter Alex Canney struck out the side. | 2-0 Bobcats.
- Following a pair of two-out walks in the bottom of the third inning, Drew Ehrhard cut the Bobcat lead in half with an RBI single that scored Jose Cadenas. | 2-1 Bobcats.
- Georgia College extended its lead in the top of the sixth inning with a two-out RBI single from Trevor Knowles. | 3-1 Bobcats
- In the bottom of the ninth inning with one out, Adam Hunt drove in E.J. Doskow and advanced Anthony Nunez to third base on an RBI single to make it a one-run game. With runners on the corners, the next batter Cadenas laid down a successful safety squeeze bunt that scored Nunez and tied the game. | 3-3
- In the bottom of the 10th inning, E.J. Cumbo blasted a walk-off two-run home run to right field. | Final: 5-3 Tampa
