LAKELAND, Fla.  – The Spartans improve to 9-0 after a sweep against rival Mocs.

HOW IT HAPPENED: GAME 1

• E.J. Doskow flew out to right field and opened up the scoring as Drew Ehrhard crossed the plate in the first | 1-0 Spartans.
• The Mocs answered quickly with four of their own in the bottom half | 4-1 Mocs.
• The Spartans came right back with a couple of singles by Jordan Lala, J.D. Urso, and Doskow | 4-4 Tie.
• The Spartans held the Mocs scoreless in the bottom half of the second and scored six runs on three hits in the third | 10-4 Spartans.
• The Mocs scored three runs in the third along with Berry's second homer of the day | 10-7 Spartans.
• Ehrhard singled to left in the fourth, scoring Luis Rodriguez | 11-7 Spartans.
