HOW IT HAPPENED: GAME 1
- The Sharks jumped on the Spartans early in the first with a double down the left-field line by Noriega with two outs and scored the first run of the ball game | 1-0 Sharks.
- After three scoreless frames from the Spartans, Danny Gutcher had a bases-clearing double to right center | 3-1 Spartans.
- Jordan Lala scored Gutcher from second with a single to left | 4-1 Spartans.
- In the fifth, the Spartans loaded up the bases with no outs. Jamarcus Lyons walked with one out, which brought home E.J. Doskow | 5-1 Spartans.
- In the same inning, Gutcher reached by a fielder's choice and Santiago Garavito scored. E.J. Cumbo scored on a double steal on the first pitch Lala saw. Lala collected his second RBI of the game with a single down the left-field line | 8-1 Spartans.
- With two outs and a man on in the seventh, Gutcher blasted one to left for his fifth home run of the season. | 10-1 Spartans.
