NCBWA Announces Seven Spartans as All-Region Selections

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America (NCBWA) announced its all-South Region selections on Wednesday, listing seven players from the Sunshine State Conference champion University of Tampa to its team.

UT placed five on the first team, including Alex Canney, Dalton Ross, J.D. Urso, E.J. Cumbo and Jordan Lala. Included on the second team were Michael Paul and Drew Ehrhard.

South Region Player of the Year: Sam Kuchinski, Sr., Montevallo, Ala.

South Region Pitcher of the Year: Dalton Neuschwander, So., West Florida, Fla.

South Region Coach of the Year: Mike Jeffcoat, West Florida, Fla.
