HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Mike Valdez singled to leftfield to bring home E.J. Cumbo. Bot 1 | 1-0 Tampa
• Nico Saladino flew out to centerfield but brought home Brayden Woodburn. Jake Griffith singled to centerfield to bring home Anthony Nunez. Bot 2 | 3-1 Tampa
• J.P. Gates smashed a solo shot to the right-field corner. Bot 3 | 4-1 Tampa
• Maddox King laid a suicide squeeze down to perfection to bring home Woodburn. Cumbo smashed a rope over the right field wall for a 2-run shot. Bot 5 | 7-2 Tampa
• Cumbo hit a sky-high fly ball, where the Mocs right fielder misjudged the wind and whiffed on catching a flyball. Santiago Garavito scored on the play. Bot 7 | 8-2 Tampa
• Saladino singled to rightfield to bring home Garavito. King walked with the bases loaded to bring home Woodburn. Griffith walked with the bases loaded to bring home Nunez. Bot 8 | 11-2 Tampa

• Alex Canney continues to dominate on the mound. He had his second consecutive seven-inning start, this time giving up only two runs and striking out six. Canney improved his record to 7-0.
• Tobin Moran came into relief for Canney. He pitched 2 scoreless innings and struck out 2 batters.
