GAME ONE
- Santiago Garavito would draw a walk and then steal second. Later in the inning, E.J. Cumbo would drive him in with a single to center. Bot 3 | 1-0 Tampa
- The Spartans were in business with Stephen Klein getting hit by a pitch and Anthony Nunez singling to center to start off the inning; however.
J.P. Gates grounded into a double play, and Klein advanced to third. Mike Valdez picked up Gates, ripping a groundball past the third basemen and rolling all the way to the wall for a standup double. Bot 4 | 2-2 Tie - After a Nico Saladino walk, Cumbo would double down the right field line to put the Spartans in business with two men in scoring position and only one out. Jake Griffith would fly out to center field. However, it would bring in Saladino. Bot 5 | 3-3 Tie
- The Spartans would load the bases. Saladino then came to the plate and hit a grounder to the first baseman that he missed the handle and kicked up behind him and brought home, Valdez. Brayden Woodburn came hustling around third base on the play, and coach Joe Urso sent him, resulting in him scoring. Cumbo followed with a single to center to bring in Garavito and Saladino. AT THE PLATE:

ON THE MOUND:
- Skylar Gonzalez improved to 12-0 on the season. He pitched 7 innings giving up 3 runs while striking out 1.
- Gates came in relief for Gonzalez. He pitched 2 scoreless while striking out 1.
GAME TWO
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After back-to-back singles from Griffith and Klein, Nunez would walk to load the bases up for the Spartans. Gates would hit a fly ball to center that the Barry center fielder took his eye off when trying to secure the catch and dropped it. Griffith would score on the play. Then Valdez and Woodburn followed with RBI singles, and Macallister Jorgensen hit a sac fly to right field to bring in Gates. Bot 1 | 4-0 Tampa
- After singles from Klein and Nunez, Gates grounded into a double play, but Klein would score on the play. Bot 5 | 5-0 Tampa
- Maddox King would lead off the inning with a double. With two outs, Danny Gutcher doubled in King. Bot 8 | 6-3 Tampa
AT THE PLATE:
- Gutcher: 3-4 & RBI
- Woodburn: 2-4 & RBI
ON THE MOUND:
- Jake Stipp started on the mound. He improved to 5-0 on the season. He pitched 5 scoreless innings while striking out 3.
- Eli Thurmond came in relief for Stipp. He pitched 2.1 innings and gave up 3 runs while striking out 3.
- Ashton Pocol came in relief for Thurmond. He pitched 0.1 innings.
- Nunez came in relief for Pocol. He picked up his first save of the season, pitching 1.1 scoreless innings while striking out 2.
