NCAA South 1 Regional
The Spartans start their quest for their ninth national championship.
Thursday, May 16th
Game 1 -1:00 PM: #1 Tampa vs. #8 Savannah State
Game 2 - 5:00 PM: #4 Lee vs. #5 Auburn-Montgomery
Friday, May 17th
Game 3 – 1:00 PM: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2
Game 4 – 5:00 PM: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
Saturday, May 18th
Game 5 – 1:00 PM: Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4
Game 6 – 5:00 PM: Winner Game 5 vs. Winner Game 4

Game 7 – 1:00 PM: Game 6 teams (If necessary: If the winner of Game 5 wins Game 6)
Tampa
- The Spartans head into NCAA regional action after a historic regular season. The Spartans finished with an overall record of 43-7 and 24-6 in conference play, leading to their 4th straight SSC Regular Season Champion title and 23rd in program history. Along with their fantastic regular season, Tampa had 9 different Spartans receive SSC All-Team awards, including Skylar Gonzalez receiving SSC Pitcher of the Year and slated on the All-Defensive Team, and Coach Joe Urso's 14th time receiving SSC Coach of the Year. E.J. Cumbo also received his 2nd SSC Player of the Year Award in back-to-back years. He is the 7th different Spartan ever to receive the award. Including these significant accomplishments, the Spartans awarded SSC All-First Team were Mike Valdez, Skylar Gonzalez, J.P. Gates, Santiago Garavito, E.J. Cumbo, and Alex Canney. The Spartans awarded SSC All-Second Team were Jake Stipp, Anthony Nunez, and Andrew Carson. These Spartan recipients look to take care of business as they host the NCAA Division II South 1 Baseball Regional at the Birdcage starting tomorrow, May 16th.
Lee
- The Flames head into NCAA regional action after finishing their regular season with an overall record of 37-16 and 23-7 in the Gulf South Conference. They have played Auburn-Montgomery, their first matchup of the playoffs, already this season, resulting in taking two of three from the Warhawks. The Flames look to take another from them in the opening game of their regional before trying to knock down #1 Tampa or #8 Savannah State.
Auburn-Montgomery
- The Warhawks head into NCAA regional action after finishing their regular season with an overall record of 31-22 and 15-8 in the Gulf South Conference. They have played Lee University, their first matchup of the playoffs, already this season, dropping two of three to the Flames. The Warhawks look to turn the page and take down the Flames before taking a shot at #1 Tampa or #8 Savannah State.
Savannah State
- The Tigers head into NCAA regional action after finishing their regular season with an overall record of 31-15 and 21-12 in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Tigers look to turn the page and make a statement by shocking #1 Tampa in the regional opener.
