HOW IT HAPPENED:
- E.J. Cumbo would lead the Spartans off with a triple to left center. The next batter, Anthony Nunez, would smash a hanging off-speed pitch over the right field wall. After a J.P. Gates walk, Santiago Garavito would pull his hands inside and hit his eleventh home run. The bases became juiced when Nico Saladino kept the line moving with a single to right to bring home Mike Valdez. Cumbo would follow, reaching on a fielder's choice to second to bring home Jake Griffith. Bot 1 | 7-1 Tampa
- With two outs, Brayden Woodburn would double to left center to bring home Gates. Griffith would follow with an infield single to bring home Garavito. Bot 2 | 9-1 Tampa
- The Spartans had first and second when Woodburn singled to bring in Gates. Garavito would score on a wild pitch. Saladino would bring home Woodburn with a single. Later in the inning, Nunez would double to right center to bring home Saladino and Griffith. Bot 4 | 14-2 Tampa
- After Griffith tripled, Saladino would hammer a homerun to centerfield. Bot 8 | 16-7 Tampa
