Spartans Host SSC Opponent for Supers
NCAA South Super Regional
The Spartans continue their quest for their ninth national championship as they host SSC opponent Embry-Riddle in a winner-take-all best-of-three series.
Friday, May 24th
Game 1 - 6:00 PM: #1 Tampa vs. #3 Embry-Riddle
Saturday, May 18th
Game 2 – 1:00 PM: #3 Embry-Riddle vs. #1 Tampa

- The Spartans head into the NCAA South Super Regional action after sweeping their regional competition, Savannah State and Lee, this past weekend. The Spartans outscored their opponents in regionals 45-11 in three games. It was truly a team effort for the Spartans in regional action after collecting their 44th, 45th, and 46th wins. Tampa finished with 45 hits over the three games, and their starting rotation, Alex Canney, Skylar Gonzalez, and Jake Stipp, gave up only 4 runs over the weekend. The Spartans look to continue their stellar play as they host SSC opponent Embry-Riddle for the South Super Regional title.
Embry Riddle
- The Eagles head into NCAA South Super Regional action after finishing 3-1 at the St. Leo regional competition. The #3 seed Eagles took care of #6 Delta State in their regional opener before clinching a spot in Supers with a win, loss win over West Florida. The Eagles look to take two of three over #1 Tampa to clinch a berth in the World Series.
