Spartans Well Represented on Commissioner’s Honor Roll

ORLANDO, Fla. - A total of 44 University of Tampa student-athletes were among the 476 named to the Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2008 semester, announced by Commissioner Michael J. Marcil.

To be eligible for the Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll, a student-athlete must post a minimum grade point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00. Participants in the sports of men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, softball, and baseball were eligible for the honor roll.

UT student-athletes on the list include Casey Albanese, Cassie Barnes, Josh Bowman, Nolan Brannon, Steven Broschofsky, Jennifer Burgmeier, Samantha Burns, Ashley Carrea, Scott Chapman, Chris Evans, Estefania Greco, Kylie Gross, Angela Guiu, Christine Halby, Maggie Holden, Michele Horan, Pat House, Glyn Hunter, Nicolas Jutigny, Alexa Kane, Rob Kane, Emily Kennedy, Catriana Messina, Quynh Nguyen, Jeannette Nicewinter (4.0), Theresa Osborne, Anthony Perez, Kathryn Pielli, Whitney Porter, Alissa Price, Alyssa Rodriques, Tom Rourke, Caitlin Scudder, Marris Smith, Kourtney Stark, Hailee Sullivan, Brandan Teague, Crystal Thomas, Alicia Thompson, Nate Titus, Kari Walsh, Samantha Webb, John Wiedenbauer and Erica Woodard.
