
Rashad Callaway Named To Daktronics/NABC All-Region Teams
TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa men's basketball player Rashad Callaway was among the 12 student-athletes named to the Daktronics Men's Basketball All-South Region Team. Callaway was also named to the NABC All-Region Team.
The sophomore guard from Bayonne, N.J., ranked as UT leading scorer while averaging 18.0 points per game. He also led the team leader in assists (126), steals (43), field goals made (164) and 3-point field goals made (65). He scored double figures in 15 of UT's 16 regular season SSC contests, scoring 20-plus points on seven occasions and 30-plus points twice. On the season, he registered 31 points three times. He was also a first-team all-Sunshine State Conference selection.
