
Rashad Callaway Named All-American By Division II Bulletin
BEAVERTON, Ore. - University of Tampa men's basketball player Rashad Callaway has been tabbed as an honorable mention All-American by the Division II Bulletin. A 2009-10 preseason All-American, it marks the first postseason All-American selection for Callaway.
A first-team all-Sunshine State Conference selection, Callaway also garners first-team all-South Region honors from the NABC and Daktronics.
Callaway, a junior guard from Bayonne, N.J., led the Spartans while averaging 21.1 points per game. His 167 assists, 64 steals and .816 free throw percentage was also first among all Spartans.
From the SSC, Florida Southern's John Thompson earned third team honors while Lynn's Chris Hall was joined in the honorable mention ranks by Rollins' Nick Wolf and Callaway. Nova Southeastern's Brian Cahill was named to the all-freshman team.
