• The Spartans will host their home opener on Sunday as well as the first conference matchup of the season against the Barry Buccaneers following their weekend losses to Montevallo and Alabama-Huntsville.

• Sunday's afternoon match against the Buccaneers is the home opener for the Spartans. The Buccaneers enter the weekend 1-0 and are coming off a win against Fort Lauderdale Eagles.
