Spartans Fall to Panthers in Final Matchup of the Season
Tampa, FL. – The University of Tampa Spartans Men's Basketball Team falls to conference foe in final game of the season.
Final: Florida Tech Panthers 94, Tampa Spartans 74
Records: Tampa (8-18, 7-13 SSC), Florida Tech Panthers (18-10, 11-9 SSC)

All-Time Series: The Spartans have a significant 58-30 lead in the overall series against the Panthers.
HOW IT HAPPENED
FIRST HALF
The first half of the final matchup of the season would open with senior Yannick Olma winning the opening tip-off. The Panthers would get on the board first early in the half. Mykah Brown netted a three point shot to get the Spartans on the board, cutting the Panther lead to four. Florida Tech made back to back three point shots to build a 10 point lead with just over fourteen minutes to play. The Panthers continued to score, testing the Spartan defense. SECOND HALF
The second half of the matchup between the conference foes would begin similarly to the first, with the Panthers scoring first. Brown netted his fourth field goal of the match with just under 16 minutes to play. De'Andre Harvey got hot with just under 12 minutes left to play, netting back to back baskets sparking the Spartan offense. Ultimately the Panthers shooting took over the matchup, causing the Spartans to fall. | Score: 94-74 Florida Tech
