Spartans Fall Despite White's Big Performance

TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa Spartans fall to Bemidji State Beavers in struggling shooting display.

HOW IT HAPPENED

1st HALF 

The Spartans came out on fire, making their first five shots and going on a 10-0 run to open up the game. However, the Beavers would respond by holding the Spartans to 20% shooting for the next five minutes with two turnovers and taking a 21-16 lead. Jesse White would score five points to tie the game up at 21. Despite the Spartans holding the majority of the Beavers's lead to only two possessions, Bemidji State would make it a three-possession game in the final seconds before the half ended. | Score: 42-34 Bemidji State

2nd HALF

Right before the under-sixteen media timeout, White would cut the Beavers's lead to six. The Spartans would struggle producing on offense for the rest of the game, only scoring three points in the next ten minutes.
