HOW IT HAPPENED
1st HALF
Spartans came out of the gates with a fast start, going on a 15-3 run before a Panthers 3-pointer to cut their deficit to nine. De'Andre Harvey would score five points as well as a Trae Martin layup for a quick 7-2 run to take a commanding 22-8 lead. After Florida Tech cut their deficit to 28-18, Jesse White would respond with back-to-back threes to expand the Spartans lead to 16. 2nd HALF
The Panthers responded, coming out of the locker rooms to cut their deficit to 3. Tyson Leitao and Cole Gingeleski would each score points to bring the Spartan lead back up to 7. Florida Tech responded by taking the lead at the 13-minute mark before Amari Davis scored a basket to regain the Spartan lead before the under-12 media timeout. With eight lead changes the rest of the way, the Spartans found themselves down one with thirteen seconds left in the game. Bryan Williams would drive to the basket, where Gingeleski would clean up the rebound and give the Spartans the lead with five seconds left.
