HOW IT HAPPENED
1st HALF
The Spartans had a slow start and found themselves in an early 12-2 deficit. Despite their early 10-point deficit, Tampa followed with an 8-0 scoring run, 12-10. Six of those points came from back-to-back three from Jacob Harris. Eckerd, unfortunately, took advantage of the Spartans' sloppy offense and extended their lead back up to thirteen. Despite being down twelve with two minutes to go before the half, Tampa ended the half with an 8-0 scoring run. | Score: 37-33 Eckerd
2nd HALF
Tampa picked up right where they left off to end the half. The Spartans opened up with a 10-0 run, with six points from Bryan Williams. Eckerd would cut their five-point deficit to three before the Spartans would score five straight to go back up eight, 50-42. The score would become 52-46 before the Spartans would go on a 9-1 run, Williams scoring 7 of those points, and Tampa would take a 61-47 lead. That's all that Tampa needed as they stayed consistently out of reach of Eckerd getting back in striking distance. | Score: 89-77 Tampa
